  • The Westin Monache
    The Westin Monache is a high end hotel with a lobby bar, the Whitebark restaurant, conference facilities, gym, swimming pool, sauna and a great place to have as your home base when you are experiencing the resort. With all the amenities you would expect at a resort an at a Westin, it is one of the few hotels in Mammoth that is pet friendly. The rooms come in several sizes, but the most popular are the one and two bedrooms. You get what you pay for, and this is very true with this first class lodging.

  • Village at Mammoth
    The Village Lodge is made up of three large buildings with the swimming pool and spa in the center of the complex. The rooms are the new modern condo-hotel style room which is more like a mini apartment than a hotel. The main building called"Grand Sierra Lodge" has a large lobby with a fireplace. The "White Mountain Loge and Lincoln house are strictly rooms. All the rooms are above the first floor retail space, so when you come down, you're in the middle of the action. You will find restaurants, shops and an entertainment complex for shows. A single room here can hold a family of 4 very nicely. You can figure 2 in each bedroom, plus 2 on a sleeper sofa in the living room.

  • Juniper Springs Lodge
    Juniper Springs Lodge is also a condo hotel with a small sundry shop, big lobby, pool, spa and sits right on the slopes at Chair 15 also known as Eagle Lodge. People like staying here for the convenience of ski in and out. Each room is complete with a bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen and many will have views of either the slopes or the mountains. A one bedroom is sized to hold a family of 2 adults and 2 kids on a sleeper sofa. There is also ski school for the kids which makes staying here very convenient.

  • Mammoth Mountain Inn
    The Mammoth Mountain Inn is at the Main Lodge of the ski resort. It is a large traditional style hotel with lobby bar, restaurants and sits on the snow. It is 6 miles from town, but the convenience of being at the top of the mountain makes it a great place to stay. While the restaurants are not "go to " places they are convenient when you don't want to drive or shuttle. Just out front in the most famous bar in Mammoth , "The Yodler" which has been rated the #1 après ski bar for years. The main Mammoth child care is right here, so if you have little kids that are not going to ski, this might be the right place.

  • Sierra Nevada Lodge
    The Sierra Nevada Lodge is one of the newer hotels in Mammoth and is competing with the other upscale places, yet has a much better price point as it is located in town and not at the village or on the slopes. It is an upscale rustic old lodge done up with glamour from the 40's and 50's when skiing was new and the latest thing. The premises have 3 restaurants, miniature golf, pool, spa and is right in the middle of Mammoth Lakes. The free shuttle to the Mammoth Mountain ski slopes stops at this hotel.

  • Tamarack Lodge
    Located by Twin Lakes in the backcountry. these gourmet cabins sit just opposite the water. Newly redone and fashionable, they are true cabins with a 3 star flair. The cabins have a mission style decor with all the modern conveniences, yet with old world charm. They look rustic, but are far from it. There are not very many, so they book up fast.

  • The Mammoth Creek Inn
    The Mammoth Creek in is a boutique hotel with just 28 rooms in the heart of Old Mammoth. The rooms are quite nice and they serve a traditional European breakfast complimentary every morning. There is a comfortable lobby and a newly redone spa area. The hotels sits directly next to the real "Mammoth Creek" and it is a beautiful place to take a stroll. With it's charm, you may even consider this in the B n B category rather than a hotel that offers a breakfast.
