Lodging rentals in Mammoth surround the ski resort and the Mammoth Lakes basin which consists of 5 lakes. The lakes also have cabins around them, but are privately owned, and open only in the summer. During winter months the cabins are closed and for a good reason... they get buried in snow. So for winter skiing, you need to stay at the ski resort area, or in the town which is less than 1/2 mile from the resort. Here are the phone numbers to help you get started.
